We recommend...

Full Membership

Available to woman pilots aged 17 years and above, who hold or have held:

  • A Pilot Licence or its equivalent in other countries, or in the armed forces;
  • A Bronze Badge for gliding, or its international equivalent;
  • A British hang gliding or paragliding/paramotoring pilot qualification, or its international equivalent;
  • Other appropriate aircrew licences/qualifications, such as ballooning.

Associate Membership

Available to anyone aged 17 years and above who is interested in furthering the aims of the BWPA or is training for one of the qualifications listed under the Full Membership category.

Youth Full Membership

Those aged up to and including 16 years may join as Youth Members:

  • Youth (Full) if one of the flying qualifications listed above is held.

Youth members need an adult in the same household to provide their name and email address within the application.

Youth Associate Membership

Those aged up to and including 16 years may join as Youth Members:

  • Youth (Associate) if training for one of the flying qualifications listed above, or if interested in furthering the aims of the Association.

Youth members need an adult in the same household to provide their name and email address within the application.

Family Membership

Both Full and Associate Members may take out Family Membership to cover their parents, partners and children aged 16 years or under, living at the same address.

Full Membership

Available to women pilots aged 17 years and above, who hold or have held:

  • A Pilots’ Licence or its equivalent in other countries, or in the Armed Forces;
  • A Bronze Badge for gliding, or its international equivalent;
  • A British Hang Gliding or para gliding/motoring pilot qualification, or its international equivalent;
  • Other appropriate aircrew licences/qualifications, such as ballooning.

Associate Membership

Available to women aged 17 years and above who are training for one of the qualifications listed under the Full Membership category, and anyone interested in furthering the aims of the Association.

Family Membership

Both Full and Associate Members may take out Family Membership to cover their parents, partners and children aged 16 years or under, living at the same address.

Youth Family Membership

Those aged 16 or under may join as Youth Family Members.
