An update on the 2023 BWPA scholarships

It has been a busy couple of months in my newly-appointed role as Scholarship Coordinator. I joined mid-August and we launched only two weeks later!

Firstly, what an amazing response we received across the BWPA Flying Start and BWPA Flying High categories, with over 100 applications received. We even saw some keen last minute submissions at 19:59 just before the 20:00 close on 26 September. Behind the scenes, since the closing date, much has been going on.

So, when will the results be released? Winners will be announced at our annual Festive Lunch, on Sunday 3 December. I am also thrilled to confirm that one of our sponsors will be joining us for the event.

We appreciate that everyone who applied for a scholarship is waiting in anticipation to know the results. Unfortunately, we are unable to release any further updates prior to 3 December. If you are not able to attend the lunch, please do not worry. However, do keep an eye on your emails just in case we are in contact with you on the day.

It has been truly overwhelming to see so many fantastic and well thought through applications.
