Members’ adventures November 2025
Merry Christmas everyone!
The days may be shorter, but our members made the most of the available flying days to take some stunning winter trips out.

Steph Smith found the grass strip was too wet to fly the Rearwin, so she kept current in the Tiger Moth while she waited for the strip to dry out.

Taylor Craft checked out the local reservoir. It has a long way to go still to recover to normal levels.

Poppy Qureshi took her first flight as an all-female crew with Cat.

Nancy Lillington went on a lovely bimble in the Maule from White Waltham Airfield to Wadswick Farm Airstrip for a tasty Sunday roast. There was also a beautiful sunset flying back.

Laurel Veldhuizen had all smiles on a sunny morning flying around the Isle of Man!

Holly Ashurst exercised her night rating privileges.

Catherine Woehrel went on a bimble to Henstridge Airfield with her fellow pilot Janet Bendell, another all-female crew.

Anna Taplin flew her mum for the first time since gaining her PPL, over their house too!

Catherine Ruddick took a spin over the HMS Prince of Wales Aircraft Carrier as she returned to Portsmouth from 8 months in the Far East.

Jo Sharpe took a solo trip over Lancashire.
