Members’ adventures December 2024
December saw the usual inspirational trips from our members, more international travel , night ratings, sunsets and lots of clouds.
Allie Dunnington took a training flight in Bristol.
Vero Pepperrell, in a bid to escape circuits, backseated a few flights, including an outing from Cambridge to Newquay, where they saw snow, rainbows and the gorgeous coastline.
Heather McCann flew to Anguilla. Just another day at work!
Louise Rotheram-Smith flew above the fog from Halfpenny Green.
Helen Hennessy started her night rating with Waterford Aero Club. Hopefully she will get it finished in January…

Claudia Hill flew with a friend from Oxford Gliding Club. He used to watch the London Gliding Club gliders at Dunstable when he was a kid, but had never actually flown from there – so now he finally has!
Catherine Woehrel took a flight around the Isle of Wight to land at Lee on Solent.
