Join the BWPA at Reach for the Sky Festival!

“Reach for the Sky Festival is a brand new festival from the TECgirls Team. The festival will be taking over a huge hangar at RNAS Culdrose on Saturday 22 of June. With sponsorship support from the Department for Transport and the Civil Aviation Authority we expect 400-500 people to attend.

Reach for the Sky’s aim is to excite girls about future skills in the aviation and the aerospace sectors. We are pitching it as a “Future of Flying Festival”. It is a family-friendly festival created for girls 7-14 from across the southwest. Tickets are free for all kids, and they will get a free lunch option on the day. Adult tickets will cost £10, this includes the cost of parking, there will also be food and drink stands, but picnicking is allowed.

There is a strong emphasis on the festival atmosphere of the day. We are working hard to ensure that the whole event will be packed full of excitement, joy, and inspiration.”

BWPA members Alice Chant and Fiona Macaskill will be flying in and exhibit their aircrafts on the day. Look out for the BWPA roller banner by Fiona’s aircraft!
