Duxford Ladies Fly-in 17 Aug 2013
Duxford Airfield has kindly arranged a Ladies Day with half price landing, half price museum entry and free guided tour. Due to gusty weather forecast only 2 planes, one from Stapleford and one from Panshanger, made it there. Two enthusiastic members drove all the way from Bognor Regis to attend the day. Airfield manager Tom Turner has kindly arranged marshaller to line up the visiting planes to face the control tower for later photography session. BWPA also got exclusive use of the briefing room with tea and biscuits. Due to strong wind approaching, we had to end the day early after the group photos in front of the visiting aircraft.
