BWPA members are invited to come join Cambridge Flying Group for a flight in a Tiger Moth at Shuttleworth, Old Warden Airfield!
Group members at CFG are offering flights on a cost sharing basis between you and them. Suggested costs are £50 for around 20 minutes flight, to be sorted between yourself and the pilot.
Kicking off at 1400 and running up until sunset for Tiger Moth flights, with the possibility of other aircraft becoming available during the evening as well.
There will be 20 Tiger Moth slots available during the afternoon/evening, it will be first come first served on the day. Priority will be given to BWPA members for slots, if there are any spare on the day they can be offered to guests you want to bring with you.
If you have a flying suit, please do bring it along, otherwise sensible, non-loose clothing and enclosed shoes (trainers, boots, etc) to be worn. Loose articles are not allowed in the aircraft, so please have a bag to leave any such items in during your flight. Helmets can be supplied or if you prefer to use your own that’s fine.
There will also be a BBQ over at Kennet Aviation on the Home Farm side of Old Warden Airfield in the evening, for £20 per person to cover food and drinks. If you have any dietary requirements, please let us know when emailing to register your interest.
If you want to fly into Old Warden, you must PPR via the Shuttleworth website. Overnight stays are also possible in the Shuttleworth House via their website, booking.com and Airbnb.
