Adventure in the Australian outback (online)
Date(s) - Tuesday 26 January 2021 19:00 - 20:00
In January 2019, BWPA members Fiona and Angus Macaskill set out in a two-seater ultralight Jabiru J160 to cover some 5,000 miles in five weeks, in which they flew over five Australian deserts. This adventure is one of three that Fiona and her husband Angus have undertaken in recent years in Australia, but this one was particularly memorable, such as when they flew over and around Uluru (Ayers Rock) at sunrise as well as following the Great Australia Bight for 300 miles.
Join us at 19:00 on Tuesday 26 January to hear all about Fiona and Angus’ memorable trip. The talk will last approximately 45 minutes followed by an opportunity to ask questions.
The event, hosted by the southwest regional group, is for members only; the link to join is in the Members’ Area.
We look forward to seeing you!
