WOMEN’S BALLOON MEET 2015
This is the meet for female pilots and PuTs to gather for fun and flying with a friendly
no-pressure atmosphere. The only rule? You need a female P1 or PuT in the basket!
We’ve been invited by a lovely lady airfield owner to hold our 6th UK meet at Finmere Aerodrome, Buckinghamshire.
The airfield will be our base for briefings and there will be options to fly from here and a couple of other local launch sites. Access details will be provided to entrants after booking.
Friday 25th: First briefing 15.30 @ Finmere Aerodrome for anyone that can get there and wants to fly then informal meet up and dinner in a local pub (tbc)
Saturday 26th: Briefings 06.30 and 15.30 @ Finmere. Dinner @ Best Western Buckingham 19.30

The Best Western Buckingham has 35 rooms available and on hold for us until 31st March. If you would like to secure a room within staggering distance of the dinner (and 5 mins’ drive from the airfield) then please call or email to book quoting ‘Balloon’ to get the B&B rates below. Fixed wing, rotary and BWPA
There is an option for fixed wing and rotary fliers to join us – please let me know if you or your crew intend to arrive by air and we’ll put you in touch with the airfield owner. Finmere Aerodrome is listed in Pooley’s guide.
Members of the British Women’s Pilot’s Association (BWPA) are invited to join us again.
Gas -Will be available from a private bulk tank (approx. 25 mins’ drive away) but please come will full tanks or make contact beforehand if you will need gas before the first flight.
